Sunday Sparkling Yogini Yoga Sequence

Begin by warming up your body with 5-10 Sun Salutations

(Hold the following poses 3-5 breaths)

*Chair Pose*

*Forward Fold*

*Step back left leg into a lunge~keep hands on the floor*

*Turn your body to face the left long side of mat into wide legged forward fold*

*Turn your body to face the front of the mat and come into a high lunge*

*Downward Facing Dog~lift your right leg*

*Walk your hands to the back of the mat into standing split~left leg grounded*

*Walk your hands to the front of the mat into 3 Legged Dog~right leg lifted*

*Swing right leg through to low lunge~back knee dropped*

*Lizard pose*

*High Lunge*

*Step your left leg forward and bring knee to the chest*

*Tree Pose*

*Chair Pose*

(repeat sequence on other side)

Don’t forget to breathe!



**Always make sure to check with your doctor before beginning any exercise regime. This sequence is meant for those who have a regular yoga practice and are very familiar with the poses!*
